The Spiral Staircase
The spiral staircase invites you to climb
To the room at the top of the stairs
The tune calls you onward
Familiar and yet
Filled with the utmost despair
Your heart pounds in time
To the musical rhyme
As you wind your way step after step
But what you find there
At the top of the stairs
Is something you didn’t expect
What? Will the surprises never end? :) spooky once again.
